Laboratory

The on site laboratories at Joliet Oncology - Hematology Associates, Ltd. are staffed by accredited medical technologists and trained personnel. The laboratories provide convenient access and fast turn-around times that enables us to provide prompt high quality care for our patients.

All of our quality-driven laboratories are certified by The Illinois Department of Public Health and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) they are deemed to be in full compliance.

Our Testing Analyzers That Are On Site Are As Follows:

• Cell Dyn 1700 & 1800 for complete blood counts (CBC)

• Chemistry Vitros 250 Analyzer for assessing pageContent functions (Chem panels)

• TOSOH Analyzer for tumor markers and immunoassays: CEA, PSA, TSH, Ca 125, Ca 27.29,B2M, ferritin, B12 and folate.

• CoaguChek for PT/INRs with immediate results for monitoring Coumadin.

• Clinitek 50 for Urinalysis testing.

All testing, with the exception of batched tests, are competed by the end of clinic. Only certain tests that are done on the TOSOH are batched.
