JOHA Foundation
The JOHA Foundation was formed in November 2000 and is the charity arm of Joliet Oncology-Hematology Associates, Ltd (JOHA).
We are a 501 (c) (3) designated non-profit organization. The goal and vision of the JOHA Foundation is to help bridge the gap
during treatment and recovery by providing support and education to cancer patients and their families. With the help of donations
from supporters like you we will continue to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

The JOHA Foundation provides financial assistance to cancer patients:

RX ASSISTANCE – Provides financial assistance to underinsured patients who need prescription medication and/or prescription
orthotics (examples: wigs, forms) relating to their cancer diagnosis.
NUTRITION ASSISTANCE – Provides financial assistance to cancer patients who are unable to financially support their nutritional needs.
HOUSING ASSISTANCE – Provides financial assistance to cancer patients that need temporary housing arrangements close to the location
in which they are currently undergoing treatment at.
MISCELLANEOUS ASSISTANCE – Provides financial assistance for miscellaneous types of needs that are necessary to continue cancer treatment.
PREMIUM ASSISTANCE LOAN – Provides financial assistance as a non-interest bearing loan, to cover the cost of a cancer patient’s monthly
insurance premium or COBRA payment to ensure the cancer patient receives the same level of continued covered care while undergoing treatment.
The JOHA Foundation also sponsors many community activities, such as:
- Annual JOHA Patient Appreciation Day
- Educational Monthly Events
- Health Fair *coming in 2011 and 2012
